2026 brings new and exciting energy to Lavender Fields of Palisade

Hi Everyone! For those of you who have followed Lavender Fields of Palisade Thank You! If you are new to us we welcome you!
This year we are starting out with all new packaging and labeling for our products! This is very rewarding to see all the products being given a new look!
As many of you know the last few years have been very challenging for everyone and especially those in retail. For us at Lavender Fields the challenges have come from several aspects both personal and commercially. We have lost two of our most loyal supporters when my father passed away and in the last 2 years my mother was diagnosed with dementia. People usually do not want to hear about the impact of personal grief, but for all of us here it has been immense. We are so very fortunate to have weathered this life storm, and we are moving into a new chapter with great enthusiasm and direction!
With this website we are hoping to reach our clients throughout the United States with the addition of the online store and ability to ship to our customers directly!
If you have been following us you know that we grow, harvest and process our lavender right here on the western slope of Colorado. We grow a variety of lavender that we use for all of our products!
June is the month that starts the harvest of lavender depending on the weather and the variety grown. I have had the earliest harvest in years past as early as the first week of June!
We have had a couple of years where the winter kill loss has been widespread through all the varieties. The winter kill for us here is from early spring high temperatures that then quickly turn back to winter and freeze the new growth and from dry conditions. I do water into late fall and have already started watering this year in order to make up for our dry winter this year.
With this we launch into a very exciting new year for Lavender Fields of Palisade!
